Roost Payments collects a $1,200 shift by bank transfer for about $11 — roughly $5 to the bank and 0.5% to Roost. The invoice Roost already built gets paid, the money lands in your account, and it matches itself to the shift. No photographing checks, no reconciling.
You’re still the one being paid — the sale is yours and the funds are yours the moment they settle; Roost only moves them. Card payments cost more (about 3.4%), and you can add either fee to the clinic’s invoice. Optional, and separate from your subscription.
With no platform taking a slice, there’s room for the clinic to pay a little less and you to keep a little more — the value stays between you and the clinic. The marketplaces are still the easiest way to find net-new work; this is for collecting on the relationships you already own.

Getting paid, as its own thing
A separate service, switched on only if you want it. Your clinics pay the invoice Roost already built, the money lands in your account, and the payment matches itself to the shift without you reconciling anything.
That’s Roost’s rate. The bank or card network charges its own on top — 0.8% capped at $5 for a bank transfer, 2.9% + 30¢ for a card.
On a $1,200 shift paid by bank transfer: about $5 to the bank, $6 to Roost — $11 all in, published down to the dollar.
You can put the fee on the clinic’s invoice instead of absorbing it — your choice, per clinic. Our share is the same either way.
The payment is directly between you and the clinic — you’re the merchant of record, so the money is yours the moment it settles. A disputed charge is yours too, in the rare case one happens. Bank transfers are far less prone to that than cards.
Optional, and separate from your subscription — including the founding price lock, which covers your subscription only. Roost Payments has its own published rate, and we’ll give notice before it changes.
